Cultural Association Ambrosia
AMBROSIA is a nonprofit cultural (art) association, founded in February 1995 in Sarajevo, through an encounter of seven people who recognized mutually supplementary aesthetics and worldviews (Weltanschauung).

By performing through art and the humanities, Ambrosia designs a complementary reality in a pan-catastrophic perspective of a multiverse of equal differences.
Interdisciplinary and multimedia: from its own ideas, intentions and principles AMBROSIA uses the widest possible communicative and media approach, including everything from written and spoken words, through sound, image, motions… In doing so, AMBROSIA produces its own artifacts, publishes, organizes…

Being active for 20 years in the domain of (counter-?!) cultural production, primarily through arts and the humanities, AMBROSIA “implemented” more then 150 original artistic, interdisciplinary and multimedia “projects” – art and theatrical performances, concerts, exhibitions, lectures, radio programs, organized several international festivals and conferences and published a number of journals, books and audio releases.

These “projects” have been realized in Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Norway, Serbia and Slovenia.

In its creative work AMBROSIA contextualizes sublation (Aufhebung) of any kind of boundaries; it places itself beyond any past or contemporary ideology; it keeps away from "isms"; it depersonalizes the Author; it refrains from making the point or reaching the outcome of its own activities. AMBROSIA explores and plays with meanings and finally, in the sphere of varied artistic production, AMBROSIA is a bricolage.
