Description
In March 2014, the third audio-visual exploration of Liminalit took place at the former Duplex 100m2 gallery in Sarajevo. Unlike "Abstraction in Color", where musicians Ognjen Šavija and Nebojša Šavija - Valha, and Maja Zećo appear on the visuals, this exploration is joined by Elvir Šahić on the didgeridoo. This exploration is more based on electro-acoustics with the use of many different sound objects, voice and effects, and the use of flute, zurna, didgeridoo, with the occasional use of some synth sounds and a rhythm machine.

The recording’s technical imperfections stem from the challenges of using numerous microphones in a small, acoustically dense space—issues that even extensive editing and AI tools could not fully resolve. This complexity is the reason why editing the material took such a long time.

Despite these challenges, the result is a distinctive musical work that blends contemporary classical music, musique concrète, ambient, experimental, future jazz, and free improvisation. Conceptually, this performance resembles cinematic music. However, rather than being music composed for visuals, it represents a complete and organic interaction between sound and image. Over the course of 40 minutes, the piece unfolds across 10 movements, continuously transforming and evolving.
